Cookies

This site does not set any.

Most cookie policies explain a banner. This one explains why there is not one.

This page reproduces POL-54, the practice's cookie policy. It takes effect when the practice opens to patients, which cannot happen until RQIA has granted registration.

What we found when we checked

UK cookie law changed on 5 February 2026, when the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 replaced the old "strictly necessary" exception with a wider set of exceptions. Under the new rules a site that carries no advertising and no third-party tracking may need no consent banner at all. This is one of those sites.

  • No cookies of any kind, first-party or third-party
  • Nothing kept in local storage or session storage on your device
  • No analytics, no advertising, no pixels, no tags and no fingerprinting
  • No embedded maps, videos, chat widgets or social media feeds — the map on our pages is a plain image generated here, not a service loaded from somewhere else
  • No requests to any other website when you load a page. The typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font service, so visiting does not tell anyone else you were here

The one exception is the enquiry form. When you press Send — and only then — what you have typed is sent to the service that passes it to us. Nothing is stored on your device either way.

Because nothing is set, there is nothing to consent to and nothing to refuse. That is also why there is no cookie banner: a banner asking permission for something that does not exist would be theatre.

The cookie table

POL-54 requires this page to carry a table of every cookie the site sets, built from an actual scan rather than from memory. The scan returns nothing, so the table is empty.

No cookies or similar technologies are set by this website.

If that changes

Adding an online booking tool, an embedded map, a video, a chat widget or a social media feed can each bring storage and consent obligations with it. We check what a new service sets before we add it, not afterwards. If we ever add something that needs your consent, we will ask before it is set, refusing will be exactly as easy as accepting, and this page and its table will be updated at the same time — not later.

The site is scanned before launch and at least annually after it.
